Say “No” to Sloppy Dentures and Start Eating and Smiling with Confidence Again

Traditional dentures rest on your gums and sometimes no matter how well they are made, they can start to feel sloppy.  If you have had dentures for a long time the ridge of gums can wear down leaving little for the dentures to hold on to. Denture adhesive may help, but not always or as much as you might like.

We can restore your ability to smile and chew with confidence again with snap on, implant supported dentures, sometimes called overdentures.

Implant supported dentures are a great option for your first set of dentures or to replace ones you already have.

We start by placing dental implants to create a fully secure foundation for your denture. This can usually be done with mini implants allowing treatment to be completed very quickly and comfortably. If you are nervous about dental treatment, we can talk about the possibility of oral sedation dentistry to help make your appointment easier for you.

The actual denture will be made so that it snaps securely onto the implants and stays in place.  Nice and solid. Very comfortable. And, easy to remove and put back in.

With snap on dentures, you will be able to feel confident in social and dining situations and enjoy the benefits of a more beautiful and natural feeling smile.

Why keep suffering. It’s time to say no to sloppy dentures and give us a call to schedule a consultation for new, reliable and very comfortable snap on dentures.

Improve the Quality of Your Life with Implant Supported Dentures

In the past people just had to make do with loose dentures. They had to accept that eating, talking, and laughing may no longer feel comfortable or secure.

But, times have changed.

If you are unhappy or uncomfortable with your dentures we encourage you to come in for a consultation to learn how we can help you upgrade to dentures that snap in place and stay secure.

You can have new teeth that look good, feel good, and function well.

We do this by providing dental implants with attachments your dentures can snap on to. These implants are small titanium screws placed in the jaw that are safe and have an extremely high success rate.

The procedure for placing implants is relatively simple and comfortable, but if you are nervous we can provide oral sedation dentistry, a special pill that takes your nervousness away.

You don’t need to suffer with ill fitting dentures any more. Implant supported snap on dentures can improve the quality of your life and allow you to eat well, smile more often, and live fully again.

Our gentle and understanding dental team will guide you through the process and support you every step of the way.

If you have dentures, there are still things you need to do to keep your mouth healthy:

Clean your dentures daily to remove plaque and bacteria – start by rinsing your dentures and then brush them gently to get them clean.  Some denture materials are not as hard as natural teeth and it is important to use a soft bristled toothbrush and non-abrasive toothpaste to protect them.

Clean your mouth every day – brush all areas of your mouth including your tongue, gums, and the inside of your cheeks with a soft toothbrush and toothpaste.  This will help remove bacteria and keep your mouth healthy.

Give your dentures a break – remove your dentures for at least 4 hours every 24 hour period.  Most people choose to do this over night.  Your gums and mouth tissues need a break to stay healthy and prevent sores.

See your dentist at recommended intervals – having your teeth removed does not mean you no longer need to see the dentist.  Your dentist will want to check the health of your mouth and screen for oral cancer.  They will also check the fit of your dentures, adjust them if needed, and help you keep them fitting and working well.

Don’t settle for sloppy dentures – dentures that don’t fit well can lead to sore spots, poor diet and digestion, and even cancer.  If you are wearing an older set that does not fit anymore, it may be time for an adjustment, relign, or brand new set.

Snap on dentures that connect to dental implants are the most secure dentures available and have revolutionized the denture experience for many people.  If your dentures are feeling sloppy or uncomfortable, make a an appointment with your dentist to find out what your options are.
